I was thrilled to be selected by Smiley360 to try Bic's latest product, Bic Mark-It. I am so weird when it comes to the pens I use having to be "pretty" that I knew from the get go that I would love these! Of course there is more to a permanent marker than just its color. You have to consider how it will write, how long it will last, if it smears, how fast it dries, if it will endure my 5 year old, etc. I am happy to say that these markers passed the test! We had a blast today decorating pumpkins for Halloween. It was actually very stress relieving as they did not fight once (shocking!) since there were so many colors to choose from. Me and the hubby even decorated one for our self :) . I really liked that the markers dried very quickly and did not smear when glue was adhered. I look forward to decorating some white ceramic crafts next time so that the colors will shine through!!!

Honeycat Cosmetics Review
There is nothing more relaxing than taking a bubble bath at the end of a long day. I had quite a few “long days” last week so decided it would be the “purrfect” time to try out the products that Honeycat sent me. Work, school and kids can be stressful to say the least…this is exactly what I needed!
Who is Honeycat?
Honeycat is a creation by Brooklyn-born Theresa Spruill. Honeycat has a large line of products including bath, facial and scrubs, just to name a few. Honeycat takes pride in committing that their products are all natural and have never been tested on animals. Here is a quote from Honeycat.com, “These are just a few of the outrageous products that we offer. Your skin is safe in our paws..um, I mean hands. Preservatives in our food, dyes in our clothes, BHT, MSG, YUCK! You won’t find any junk in Honeycat products.”
Review
Honeycat was gracious enough to send me three products to try.
- Sweet Potato Pie Bubble Stuff
- Warm Milk Martini
- Honey & Buttermilk Body Cream
The “Sweet Potato Bubble Stuff” was the first product I tried. When I opened the bottle I was amazed at the sweet aroma seeping out of the bottle. Mmmm… I actually do not eat Sweet Potato’s but this stuff smelled good enough to eat! And no, I did not eat it!
I really liked this product because it smells REALLY good, does not feel oily in the bath and made lots of bubbles!
Another item that I tried was the “Honey & Buttermilk Body Cream“. One major benefit of trying this product was that I had an excuse to get a massage.
I really liked the way my skin felt after wards. I didn’t feel greasy like I do most times I use lotion. My skin felt silky smooth and smelled unbelievable!
The final product that I tried was the “Warm Milk Martini Milk Bath“. This was my favorite! Call me silly but when I first saw the product I actually thought is was a liquid. To my amazement, when I opened it for my bath I found that it was actually a powder. I loved how relaxed I felt lying in my milk bath. The smell really intensified the experience! I thought it smelt like vanilla. This is made from goats milk, buttermilk and coconut milk so I am not sure where I smell vanilla. Maybe I am just weird…
Conclusion
I was very happy with the Honeycat products that I reviewed. I could not find a flaw in any of them. I really like that all of the products had natural ingredients and were not animal tested. I really liked the designs of the packages as well. Each product had a separate picture and a cute phrase on the back. I would recommend buying this instead of going to the spa. Hopefully we will see these products soon in stores! If you would like to see the whole line of Honeycat products click HERE to go to the website. Tandoor Chef Video Review and Chapati Bread Video Recipe
At the beginning of August, Tandoor Chef was looking for a few people to "taste test" their products. I love trying new products and am a big fan of Indian food so I signed up! A few weeks ago, I received two coupons for Tandoor Chef products. I could choose any two products so I chose "Chicken Tikka Masala" which is a favorite of mine. Within two days, I made some Chapati Bread and the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was so much better than I had anticipated! Two days after that my hubby told me to make it again. I explained to him that I was supposed to do a video review but he insisted that I make it again along with the bread. Nonetheless, I made it and went to the store to buy me another box.
Review
My family and I believe that this is a wonderful product. It does not taste like a frozen dinner and actually tastes like Indian food. Additionally, a problem with frozen dinner chicken is that it normally has an odd taste to it. This product had chicken that actually tastes like chicken! Another good thing is that it is not too spicy. When most people think of Indian food they assume that it cannot be eaten unless accompanied with a gallon of water. This is not the case here! I can honestly say that I have nothing negative to say about this product. I have yet to try their other products and will post a separate review when I do. If you would like to learn more about Tandoor Chef check out their website. They are also on Twitter and facebook.
Chapati Bread
I decided that the best way to eat Chicken Tikka Masala was with Chapati Bread. I love to cook so decided to make my own. :) Chipati Bread is ridiculously easy to make and really cheap. There is nothing that compares to the taste of fresh bread! I am sure that you have the ingredients just sitting there in your kitchen so give it a try!

- 2 cups all purpose flour (or 1 cup white and 1 cup wheat flour)
